Storm forces cancellation of Hilary Duff concert
Newfoundland's extreme winter weather is being blamed for what Hilary Duff says is the first cancellation in her pop-music career.
The American singer-actress was scheduled to play a sold-out concert Saturday night in St. John's, but promoters announced the cancellation just 10 hours before she was set to take the stage.
Wind and high seas delayed a ferry carrying four tractor-trailers full of concert equipment from North Sydney, N.S., to Port aux Basques, N.L.

Hilary Erhard Duff is an American actress, pop singer, songwriter and entrepreneur. Hilary duff was born on 28-09-1987 as the second child of Susan Colleen , a homemaker, and Robert Erhard Duff, a partner in a chain of convenience stores. She has an elder sister, Haylie Duff, who is also an actress/singer.

As of now Duff's last studio album, Dignity, was released in April 2007.
